As part of planned, strategic growth and dedication to ongoing projects, we are now seeking at least 2 experienced Mechanical Engineers to join our Engineering team in Brisbane on a casual basis for a project hire. The first of our ideal candidates will fit the following profile: Qualifications in mechanical engineering and 5 - 10 years relevant Oil & Gas industry experience Ability to work in a team environment to ensure successful project delivery Excellent communication, time management skills and the ability to work autonomously on multiple simultaneous projects Technical experience within pipeline, and /or oil and gas industry Familiarity with relevant Australian acts, regulations, standards and codes Exposure to Australian pipeline code AS 2885 and AS4041 and/or ASME B31.3 for pressure piping Experienced in piping stress analysis using Caesar For the other, all of the above plus: Experienced in pressure vessel and storage tank design Experienced in piping stress analysis using Autopipe Experienced in finite element analysis using Solidworks or similar software If you are interested in working for a successful engineering practice that offers a challenging and varied position, then we would like to talk to you.
